Canada 2007

April/May 2007

Visiting the family of my boyfriend, we went to Canada for a month in April/May 2007. On a round-trip from Canada to the States and back, we also visited Niagara Falls, the US East Coast including New York as well as Montreal, Kinston and Toronto.

African Lion Safari

African Lion Safari - a very special kind of "zoo" in Camebridge, Ontario. You get to drive through the compound...

 

 

...with lions next to you and baboons on your car (that's where the extra money for the bus tour is well spent because the monkeys like to play with the windshield wipers and such)...

 

 

...and giraffes coming to greet you.

 

 

Twice a day, the elephants come out for a swim:

 

 

They've got wonderous birds...
